Measuring system for the early detection of PAD


The ABI-System 100 measuring system from boso reduces the time and staff required to determine the ABI (ankle-brachial index). This makes widespread early detection of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) possible.

A simple routine check that, until now, often could not be carried out on this scale for economic reasons.

Measuring the ankle-brachial index with the boso ABI-System takes only 1 minute and can provide indications of PAD even in patients without symptoms. Reliable and so simple that it can easily be delegated to staff.

Thanks to the simultaneous measurement on all four limbs, the values are very
precise and are not distorted by fluctuations in blood pressure.

After the measurement, the values obtained are automatically assigned to the selected patient.

In addition to the calculated ABI, further important parameters of the cardiovascular system are obtained. The GDT interface allows the data to be transferred to the practice IT system.

Optionally with PWV measurement for assessing arterial stiffness.
