mWeb 2026 Integration Solution for Medical Devices and Workstation Software
Item number:
Product Description
Product Features
- Vendor-independent: any device and any workstation software can be integrated if an interface specification or a test device is available
- Only one interface to the HIS: the HIS communicates exclusively with mWeb – further devices can be added without any changes to the HIS
- ECG devices: GE MAC 2000, MAC 5, MAC 7 and MAC VU360 (GE DCP) as well as Lepu Medical NeoECG S120 and S180 (HL7) – integrated and tested
- Spot-check monitors: Mindray VS9/VS900, Nihon Kohden SVM-7160, Welch Allyn Connex Spot, GE Portrait VSM and VC150, Dräger Vista 120 SC, Lepu Medical VS10 – vital signs via HL7 query and ORU, tested or validated devices
- Workstation software: GE CardioSoft and CardioDay connected directly (native API, no client); ndd, IEM, AMEDTEC, SCHILLER, boso, Nihon Kohden Polaris. One and Carl Reiner via GDT and the mWeb Client
- Patient identification by barcode: scan the case number, patient ID or order number – the device always receives the complete, current master data from the HIS
- Patient master data synchronised with the HIS: largely avoids duplicate records; patient updates and merges are applied
- Results back to the hospital: measurements and reports are assigned and transferred to the target system; the mWeb Client shows the transmission status up to confirmed archiving
- Uniformly structured measurements: vital signs as HL7 ORU with LOINC codes and UCUM units – regardless of which monitor they come from
- Broad HL7 v2 support: HL7 v2.1 to 2.8.1 – ADT for patients, ORM/OMG for orders, ORU, MDM and FileShare for transferring results, reports optionally as PDF/A
- Mapping via the user interface: map codes of the patient master systems and the target systems – without programming or special HL7 knowledge
- Faults and recovery: detailed error logs, targeted reprocessing and restart mechanisms for pending transmissions
- Standalone solution: no additional paid software or middleware licences, independent of middleware such as Mirth Connect or OIE
- Easy to put into operation: as a Windows service or container, setup and monitoring via a web interface
- Security and data protection: encrypted transmission (TLS), compliant with data protection requirements, adherence to retention periods
- System requirements: Windows Server 2022 or 2025 (virtualised only) or container; at least 2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD; database: integrated SQLite or existing SQL Server / PostgreSQL
- HIS requirements: one HL7 interface for master data and orders, optionally one for reports
- Intended purpose: mWeb 2026 transports data between the HIS, medical devices and workstation software – without reporting and without altering medical content
Scope of Delivery
- mWeb 2026 server software incl. licence – operation as a Windows service or container, with web interface for setup, mapping and monitoring
- mWeb Client for Windows workstations – connection of GDT-capable workstation software, display of transmission status
