CPR-Assist is a device that improves the quality of resuscitation by providing real-time feedback and measurements of chest compressions during CPR. It can also help assess the quality and performance of CPR by sending the data in real time to a Nihon Kohden defibrillator and to a viewer program for review.
REAL-TIME FEEDBACK
CPR-Assist displays the depth and rate of chest compressions via LED and audio in real time. This function helps adjust the compressions in order to perform higher-quality CPR in real patient cases and facilitates CPR training. This type of feedback is encouraged by the international resuscitation guidelines.
CPR ASSESSMENT
The CPR-Assist can communicate via a Bluetooth connection. For training, the real-time CPR waveforms and measured values can be displayed on a computer screen with viewer software. This program assesses the quality of CPR to provide useful feedback for future CPR. The compression data are stored in the CPR-Assist and can be reviewed on a computer equipped with Nihon Kohden’s Report Viewer software.
CPR MANAGEMENT
CPR-Assist can also communicate via a Bluetooth connection with a Nihon Kohden defibrillator (TEC-5600 series or EMS-1052). The real-time CPR waveforms and measured values are then displayed on the defibrillator screen together with other parameters such as ECG, SpO2, CO2 and NIBP. By using the CPR-Assist in conjunction with a Nihon Kohden defibrillator, all information required for the rescue can be assessed on one screen.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND PORTABLE
The CPR-Assist is lightweight and portable, with dimensions of 71 (W) x 32 (H) x 126 (D) mm and a weight of 166 g (without battery). It can easily be carried with any AED or defibrillator and used in various locations.
LONG OPERATING TIME
With two AAA batteries, the CPR-Assist has an operating time of 5 hours in continuous use. This long run time ensures that the device can be used over extended periods.
