EEG for intensive care medicine


In intensive care medicine, patients with an unclear state of consciousness are often not correctly diagnosed. Two of the reasons for this are that it requires routine experience and technology. With CerebAir, Nihon Kohden offers a technical solution that makes cEEG examinations possible even without experience in applying EEG electrodes.

The CerebAir EEG headset is a telemetry EEG amplifier developed for quick and straightforward cEEG monitoring in intensive care settings. Experience in applying EEG electrodes is not required.

Thanks to Bluetooth® communication, the patient is not surrounded by cables. This is ideal for intensive care units, where the patient is already connected to a large number of cables.
