With the Gentle-Lung software, lung recruitment procedures can be performed to open atelectases and determine the optimal PEEP. The NKV-440 optionally offers the ability to display SpO2 and etCO2 values and waveforms directly on the device display. The screen display can be customised, and additional functions can be arranged as apps on the screen interface. This allows the NKV-440 to adapt to the required work structure at any time in order to provide users with an optimised user interface. For increased patient safety, the inspiratory air is cleaned by a HEPA filter. Inhaled medications can be administered via the integrated pneumatic nebuliser.
